Sales Manager in Modern trade

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager for our modern trade division. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of salesmen to achieve sales targets and drive growth within the modern trade channel.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue within modern trade
-Manage a team of salesmen to achieve individual and team sales targets
-Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends and competitor activity
-Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure smooth execution of sales and promotional activities
-Establish and maintain relationships with key modern trade customers and partners
-Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasting to senior management
– Negotiate contracts and listings in supermarkets
– Oversee the merchandising team
Requirements:
-Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales management within the modern trade channel
-Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
-Excellent leadership skills
-Strong communication and negotiation skills
-Ability to analyze market data and make informed business decisions
-Computer literacy and proficiency in generating sales trends and reports
-Driver’s licence (private car)
